1. General
1.1 Q: What is UbixOS?
A: UbixOS is a new operating system with its focus on the
desktop and on supporting the latest technology to make the
user experience both easy and productive. UbixOS will be
an Operating System dedicated to being useable and stable.
1.2 Q: What is not UbixOS?
A: UbixOS is not a server operating system, it does not aim to
be all things to all people. No one thing can do everything
so we decided to focus on the user and their needs on the desktop.
1.3 Q: What isthe goal of UbixOS?
A: Our goal is simply to provide you, the user, with the best
desktop operating system. We want to provide you with stability,
ease of use, and the ability to focus on what you want to do not
on making things work.
2. Hardware
2.1 Q: What will UbixOS run on?
A: UbixOS focuses on the intel x86 platform, the common PC.
2.2 Q: What about legacy hardware?
A: Legacy hardware support will not be extensive, this is because we
feel that the advantages of the newer hardware outwieghs supporting
every older piece of hardware.
2.3 Q: Will UbisOX run my <insert hardwar>?
A: We hope so, we aim to support as much current hardware as we can,
a Hardware Compatability List will be forthcoming to help you decide
what hardware to use with UbixOS.

3.1 Q: What software can I use with UbixOS>
A: Right now not much, we are working hard on the first release. If you
want to contribute please feel free to contact us at info@ubixos.com.

A: We have anonymous CVS access up now. You may also contact us at
